The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and ensuring application availability while adhering to SLA commitments. Key Responsibilities - Provide L2/L3 production support for critical business applications and databases. - Monitor application and database health, identify issues proactively, and ensure system availability. - Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes. - Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. - Analyze application logs and database performance issues to resolve production defects. - Create and maintain Shell Scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational activities. - Perform Linux-based troubleshooting, log analysis, and server health checks. - Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution and deployment activities. - Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management. - Prepare and maintain support documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles. - Participate in on-call support and monthly night-shift coverage as required. Required Skills Must-Have Skills - Strong experience in **SQL and PL/SQL** - Hands-on experience with **Linux/Unix** - Strong **Shell Scripting** skills - Good understanding of **ITIL processes** - Experience in: - Incident Management - Problem Management - Change Management - Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Experience supporting production environments and meeting SLA requirements - Ability to troubleshoot database and application issues independently Good-to-Have Skills - Exposure to **DevOps tools and practices** - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines - Experience with automation and deployment tools Preferred Candidate Profile - 4+ years of relevant experience in Production/Application Support. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment. - Flexible to support monthly night shifts and critical production activities.
