**Design and Release Powertrain Cooling System** **Requirements :** **Sub- Domain : Cooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etc.** **Tools : CatiaV5/V6, Vismockup, Teamcenter** **Total No. of Year Experience** 2-4 years **Job Location** Pune **Education** BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering **Job Description / Roles Responsibilities:** Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time Design and Release engineer for cooling systems. Responsible for owning cooling commodities Hoses, Tanks, Heat exchangers, Pumps and Valves. Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions. Should have a good understanding of vehicle package guideline. Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required. Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose innovative solutions. Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways. **WHAT YOU NEED** Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of cooling system commodities. Commodity Ownership Participate in sourcing process for timely onboarding of suppliers Coordinate with stakeholders - Engineering, Finance, Purchase supplier for BOM management Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of data is produced like CAD, Cost, QAF etc. Understanding of commodity release change management Understanding of Proto Production BOM Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter. GDT knowledge is a must. Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
