Established in 2020 as a greenfield venture of the Tata Group, the company aims to serve global customers through integrated offerings across a trusted electronics and semiconductor value chain. https://www.tataelectronics.com/ **Responsibilities:** Lead the end-to-end **Central Planning function** to ensure optimal demand-supply balance across the organization while maximizing customer service, Production Planning, inventory productivity, and operational efficiency. Drive planning excellence through integrated demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and S&OP planning processes. Responsible for ensuring supply continuity, working capital optimization, risk mitigation, digital transformation, planning governance, and leadership of the Central Planning team. 1. **Integrated Planning & Supply Assurance** - Lead the end-to-end Central Planning process encompassing Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and Capacity Planning. - Ensure uninterrupted product availability aligned with customer demand, production capability, and business objectives. - Translate demand forecasts into executable supply, inventory, and replenishment plans. - Balance demand, supply, capacity, and inventory across the network to achieve service and cost objectives. - Anodizing and Assembly Manufacturing Process Planning, drill down to Capacity and Production Planning capabilities. - Proactively identify and resolve supply-demand imbalances, shortages, and capacity constraints. - Maintain planning master data, policies, parameters, and ERP system integrity. 1. **Inventory Optimization** - Optimize inventory across raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, packaging materials, and critical operational consumables. - Reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory through proactive planning actions. - Drive inventory segmentation, stocking policies, safety stock optimization, and replenishment strategies. 1. **Digitalization & Process Excellence** - Drive automation, standardization, centralization, and transparency initiatives. - Implement digital solutions using SAP, Power BI, Blue Yonder, MES, Tableau and analytics tools. - Develop real-time dashboards, predictive planning models, and AI-enabled insights. - Improve planning processes through automation and system enhancements. 1. **Sales and Operations Planning** - Align demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial objectives through structured planning reviews. - Provide executive-level visibility on risks, opportunities, constraints, and mitigation actions. - Support strategic business decisions through scenario planning and what-if analyses. **Essential Attributes:** **Strategic** - Customer Service Level (OTIF/ OTD) / Product Availability >99% - Working Capital Reduction - Supply Risk Mitigation Coverage - S&OP - Benefit Realization from Digital Initiatives **Operational** - Supply Plan Adherence >98% - Demand Supply Alignment - Capacity Utilization Efficiency - Production Downtime due to Material Shortages - Shortage Incidents and Recovery Performance **Digital Excellence** - Process Automation Rate - Planning Master Data Accuracy - Dashboard Adoption - Planning Cycle Time Reduction 30–50% **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in engineering. - MBA preferred. **Desired Experience Level:** - 2–10 years in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management within manufacturing. - Experience in automotive, industrial, precision engineering, or similar sectors preferred. - Strong expertise in SAP/ERP, Blue Yonder or any planning tools for inventory optimization, planning analytics, automation, and cross-functional leadership.
