**Key Skills:** Manufacturing Execution Systems, Pre Sales, Pre-Sales, Direct Sales, SDLC, Discrete Event Simulation **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Lead direct sales and presales activities for connected plants and Industry 4.0 opportunities, including customer discovery and solution positioning. - Support RFP responses with solution architect inputs, solution design, and technical proposals for MES and plant systems engagements. - Demonstrate MES knowledge across discrete, process, and batch manufacturing and map requirements to ISA-95/ISA-88 concepts. - Provide integration guidance for MES with business systems and control systems, ensuring fit-for-purpose data flows and interoperability. - Drive project management during presales, including ideation of new solutions, creation of solution assets/frameworks, and coordination of technical teams. **Skills Required:** - 6 - 12 years of experience in presales/consulting and MES/plant systems solutioning. - Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) knowledge with experience in discrete and process manufacturing contexts. - ISA 95 standards understanding and application in MES solutioning; familiarity with ISA 95 concepts. - Integration experience with business systems and control systems for plant execution and data exchange. - Minimum 1 complete SDLC lifecycle exposure for an MES project on one or more MES technologies (OSI PI, Aspentech, GE Proficy, Siemens Simatic IT, Apriso, Rockwell FTPC, SAP ME/Visiprise, Wonderware Archestra, PSI Metals, Broner). Good to Have: - Plant automation and plant operations experience; manufacturing/industry knowledge and MES consulting exposure. - Exposure to ERP/PLM/SCM processes and manufacturing engineering concepts. - ISA 88 / MESA familiarity and discrete event simulation exposure. **Education:** Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience (degree details not specified).
