Join us redefine what’s next for you. ***Job Family Definition:*** Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs. Creates and maintains effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction. Provides the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations. Aligned to specific products or product-lines. The Consulting Systems Engineer is also a subject matter expert in their area of specialization (i.e., Mobility, Security, Branch, etc), responsible for consulting customers on end to end technical designs to meet their business need. These jobs focus on selling to customers, typically through work that occurs outside HPE offices. ***Management Level Definition:*** Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision. **What You’ll Do** - Provide **technical guidance and leadership** in designing networking solutions aligned to customer business needs. - Act as a **trusted technical advisor** in deal pursuits, offering the deepest product and technology expertise within the sales organization. - Design **end-to-end network architectures** across domains such as AIOps, Campus (Wired/Wireless), SASE, Data Center, or Routing. - Deliver **technical presentations, demos, and customer workshops** to create value throughout the sales cycle. - Partner with Account Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer problem statements into impactful solutions. - Influence long-term customer network transformation aligned with business outcomes. - Support RFP/RFI responses, solution positioning, competitive differentiation, and proof-of-concept engagements. - Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive technology thought leadership. - Mentor junior team members and contribute to cross-functional initiatives where required. **What You Need to Bring** - 4-7 years of experience in **Networking, Presales, or Solution Consulting** roles. - Experience working with Government, BFSI and Enterprise customers is mandatory. - Must have hands-on experience in handling and managing tenders. - Strong expertise in at least one or more networking domains: - AIOps - Campus Networking (Wired/Wireless) - SASE - Data Center Networking - Routing & Switching - Proven experience designing **end-to-end enterprise network architectures**. - Strong customer-facing experience with executive-level communication skills. - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes. - Experience supporting large enterprise deal pursuits and working alongside sales teams. - Demonstrated ability to operate independently and exercise sound technical judgment. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex business scenarios. - Preferred: Relevant industry certifications (Aruba, Cisco, SASE, Cloud, etc.). **Additional Skills:** Accountability, Accountability, Active Learning, Active Listening, Assertiveness, Bias, Building Rapport, Buyer Personas, Coaching, Complex Sales, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Cross-Functional Teamwork, Customer Experience Strategy, Customer Interactions, Design Thinking, Empathy, Financial Acumen, Follow-Through, Growth Mindset, Identifying Sales Opportunities, Industry Knowledge, Intellectual Curiosity, Long Term Planning, Managing Ambiguity {+ 6 more} **What We Can Offer You:** **Health & Wellbeing** We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing. **Personal & Professional Development** We also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
