**Job Opportunity** : - The Pressline simulation element will be responsible for using offline simulation tools to provided designers and planners the required information to eliminate design errors, optimise automation motion paths, maximise SPM and maintain a quality part - Youll manage progress and deliver of tooling into the press facilities, ensuring compliance with performance, quality, cos t timing targets - Operating as the subject matter expert on your assigned automation tooling portfolio, providing regular updates against key metrics - Youll drive the best possible outcomes by ensuring that the simulation design phase maximises the overall production output - Its is critical the AUTOMATION DESIGN SIMULATION ENGINEER be a key link between Forward Planning, Concept Fea sibility, Tooling Delivery Planners, the engineering supply base and our manufacturing facilities, driving to not only deliver, but to improve our standards processes in a passionate and collaborative manner, whilst living the businesss core creator code behaviors **Personal Profile:** The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate most or all of the following: - An individual who is results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a demanding environment. - A resilient and enthusiastic individual w ho responds constructively to new ideas and inputs.An individual with the capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus wit h medium/long term planning. - A good communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas. - An effective team player who supports team members.Good time management with an ability to prioritise. - An individual with the ability to challenge existing thinkin g in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.Technical Skills: - Design of Int erpress automation toolingCreation of Offline Programmes (OLP) to support model launch - Stampings interface for Automation Desig n Pressline simulation - Development of processes standards related to all aspects of Automation Design Pressline simulation. Train the trainerADMS/AVLS trained to support launch operational requirements - Development of Automation Design offline simu lation internal capabilities - PPAP documentation creation control - Applicants must have either served a recognised engineering a pprenticeship, degree level or substantial experience in the Automation tooling Pressline Simulation field - A thorough understandin g of Automation Press tool design, Simulation methods and technologies. - Knowledge and familiarity with key processes, facilities a nd technologies used throughout the pressed parts process chain - UG NX, CATIA v5 v6 experience - Siemens Press Line Simulation, P rocess Simulate, Robotstudio, Delmia v5, RobCAD etc experience - Simulation Skills, Preferably ADMS/AVLS But training will be requ ired - Have a broad scope of Automation tooling from Concept Design right through Manufacture Commissioning into Home Line. - An ability to communicate to people at all levels - Good MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel and experience of O365 tools.
