Principal Software Engineer

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - 12+ years of strong software development experience. - 5+ years of object-oriented design and programming skills building back-end applications using Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST, JPA, Microservices and RDBMS. - Exposure over the unit testing using junit, mockito or similar. - Experience in CICD processes using tools like Git, SonarQube, Jenkins or similar. - Preferably 2+ years of experience in Cloud Platform, Docker and Kubernetes. - Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in RESTful services using various troubleshooting and debugging tools. - Proven ability to define and implement effective software development methodologies. - Ability to start the project from scratch using above technology stack. - A cloud certification is a plus. - Experience in development of mid/large scale projects in a collaborative environment. - **Backbase** **Experience** candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on Backbase experience.
