Workday Functional Analyst – Talent, Learning & Recruitment  Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Workday Talent, Learning & Recruiting Functional Analyst to be a core member of our Workday support team at Randstad. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for HR users, providing expert functional support across the Workday Talent, Learning, and Recruiting modules. You will deliver hands-on consultation, system administration, operational support, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the platform. This position requires strong functional knowledge across the Workday Talent, Learning, and Recruiting modules. Within Talent, this includes performance management, goal management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and skills. Within Learning, this includes learning administration, course and content management, learning assignments, and learning campaigns. Within Recruiting, this includes job requisition management, candidate lifecycle management, interview scheduling, and hiring processes. The successful candidate will partner closely with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide functional guidance, and support the successful operation, continuous improvement, and adoption of Workday capabilities across these functional areas. You will work closely with HR Workday Product Managers to support the adoption of new capabilities, manage day-to-day system administration, and ensure that system changes, releases, and updates are thoroughly tested and successfully implemented. As part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining system documentation, supporting operational excellence, developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and contributing to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that support consistent, high-quality service delivery. your typical day includes - Serving as the functional analyst for Workday Talent, Learning, and Recruiting, supporting day-to-day operational activities, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Acting as the primary functional point of contact for HR users, providing expert guidance and support across supported Workday capabilities. - Maintaining master and reference data, including performance and talent configurations, learning content and assignments, recruiting templates and workflows, and other module configuration within the team's ownership. - Supporting annual and ad hoc HR processes, including performance review cycles, goal-setting, talent reviews, succession planning, learning programs, compliance training, recruiting campaigns, and hiring activities. - Executing mass operational updates using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and other approved Workday tools to support business and organizational initiatives. - Performing data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Workday data. - Managing the Workday Help queue by monitoring, triaging, prioritizing, assigning, and resolving support requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Serving as the Level 1 escalation point for functional support requests, working with HR Operations and partner teams to deliver timely resolutions. - Collaborating with HR stakeholders, Talent, Learning, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Product Managers, and IT teams to improve processes and enhance the user experience. - Developing and maintaining SOPs, process documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides to support consistent operational practices. - Participating in training and knowledge-sharing activities to continuously build Workday expertise and functional capability. - Partnering with Workday Product Managers to support system improvements, feature adoption, testing activities, and deployment of enhancements. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities **Workday Functional Expertise** - Strong functional knowledge of the Workday Talent, Learning, and Recruiting modules. - Strong understanding of performance management, goal management, talent reviews, succession planning, talent pools, career development, skills, employee development, learning administration, learning campaigns, course management, recruiting lifecycle, job requisition management, candidate management, interview scheduling, and hiring processes. - Experience maintaining Talent, Learning, and Recruiting reference data and supporting mass data maintenance using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). - Familiarity with Workday security concepts and their impact across Talent, Learning, and Recruiting processes. - Understanding of Workday integrations and downstream impacts on connected systems. **Operational Excellence** - Experience providing functional support within a Workday production support environment. - Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Experience managing the Workday Help queue, ensuring effective case triage, workload prioritization, and timely resolution of support requests in accordance wit
