**Private Equity Analyst** **Report To:** Manager **Department:** Financial Services **Location** : Gurugram (Hybrid) **Job Summary** Evalueserve is seeking a highly motivated PrivateMarkets Research Analyst to support leading private equity, private credit, andother alternative asset managers across the investment lifecycle. The roleinvolves conducting in-depth company, industry, and market research; performingfinancial analysis and valuation; developing investment memorandums, pitchbooks, and client presentations; and supporting portfolio monitoringactivities. This individual will work closely with global clients and internal teamsto support strategic investment decisions while leveraging technology andAI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and deliver high-quality outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** Conducting research and creatingcollateral for Private Markets clients like Investor Presentation, InvestmentMemorandum & Pitchdecks o Prepare detailed client presentations, business plan, and boardmaterials o Develop detailed company profiles, including business model analysis,financial summaries, and strategic positioning o Work on Industry research and market mapping to identify emerging trendsand strategic opportunities Identify and evaluate potentialinvestment opportunities through market screening, competitive benchmarking,and financial analysis to support investment decision-making Perform financial statement analysis toevaluate business performance, capital structure, and returns Create and review detailed financialmodels, including DCF, LBO and merger models Analyze valuation multiples evolutionacross industry peers to identify potential buyer/seller dynamics Perform comparable company analysis andprecedent transaction analysis to support valuation and deal structuring Engage in portfolio monitoring andvaluation, supporting ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and strategicreviews for existing investments Perform bespoke research & analysison companies, sectors, geographies, or investment themes as required **Required Qualifications** Postgraduate from a reputed institute with PGDM/MBA (Finance), Mastersdegree with majors in finance, economics or accounting or Chartered Accountantor CFA Strong research and analytical skills Good command of Excel-based analysis and proficiency in PowerPoint forcreating high-impact presentations and pitch materials Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facingdocuments and internal coordination Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights andstrategic recommendations Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and withexternal stakeholders High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects undertight deadlines Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in small, high-performingteams Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, CoPilot) Disclaimer: This job posting & Location has been aggregated from external source.
