The processes at the FCs are largely manual involving large numbers of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of a process assistant who mentor/guide the associates towards ensuring meeting the customer expectation by following our standard work practice keeping safety & quality in mind. Key job responsibilitieso Daily Management of shift:o Administrative management of associateso Job allocation to associateso Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety.o Monitor status of counts and problem solve queueso Responsible for shift quality and associated action planso Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associateso Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basiso Stand-in for Team Lead/Area ManagerRegular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head, with tools provided to support these requirements.We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.As a frontline leader, to understand the ground reality, you will be expected to work with and help associates, which may occasionally include safely lifting heavier items and shipments with required support.Work requires the leader to go where value is being created in the operations which involve walking and standing.About the teamIB is a high inbounding volume dept with demand variations through the course of year.
