As a Procurement Director, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support across various industries, focusing on corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will leverage your skills in corporate law to navigate complex legal frameworks and minimize risks for internal stakeholders and clients. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and inspire others to follow, driving business growth and shaping the direction of client engagements. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. You will identify market gaps and convert opportunities into success for the firm, adhering to professional and technical standards and the firm's code of conduct. **Responsibilities** * Providing strategic legal guidance and support on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance * Navigating complex legal frameworks to maintain compliance and minimize legal risks * Leading the development and implementation of innovative legal strategies and solutions * Overseeing contract negotiation processes to align with organizational objectives * Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and client satisfaction * Mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders within the legal team * Promoting a culture of inclusion and integrity across all Office of General Counsel (OGC) * Identifying market opportunities and converting them into successful outcomes for the firm * Organizing and managing legal documents to support corporate transactions * Analyzing legal issues and providing comprehensive advice to clients and stakeholders What You Must Have * At least a LLB or LLM * At least 9 years of experience * Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart * Leading strategic contract negotiations and corporate transactions * Developing innovative legal strategies and solutions * Excelling in legal project management and compliance * Cultivating executive-level relationships and stakeholder engagement * Driving business growth through strategic legal advice * Promoting technological advances in legal processes * Mentoring future leaders in legal and corporate law
