Youll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals. Youll play a key role in estimating and optimising the technical cost of parts and assemblies for our rolling stock and mobility solutions. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business, including engineering, sourcing, and procurement, to promote a cost-conscious culture, support design-to-cost initiatives, and much more. Youll specifically take care of developing and refining costing tools and methodologies, but also contribute to setting new standards for cost efficiency and competitiveness. **Well look to you for:** - Using advanced cost models to calculate and optimise the technical cost of products and assemblies. - Identifying and analysing key cost drivers, proposing design and process improvements to reduce costs. - Supporting the engineering team in adopting a design-to-cost mindset throughout the product lifecycle. - Collaborating with sourcing and procurement teams, providing negotiation support with robust cost breakdowns and should cost analyses. - Leading or contributing to technical and economic business cases, benchmarks, and target cost setting for tenders and projects. - Promoting cost culture and sharing best practices across engineering, industrial, and sourcing teams. **All about you** We value passion and attitude over experience.
