Technical skills - - Functional knowledge of **2W Brake Systems** and their validation. - Functional knowledge of **modelling and drafting in Creo**. - Hands-on experience in **brake system parts design and development**. - Knowledge of brake system components such as: - Master Cylinder - Caliper - Disc - Hoses - Knowledge of **brake system homologation and validation standards** (SAE, JASO, IS, etc.). - Ability to **analyze failures** and provide effective countermeasure options. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of **brake system sizing calculations**. - Knowledge of **DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)** and **GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)**. - Knowledge of **casting and sheet metal manufacturing processes**. - Exposure to **FEA (Finite Element Analysis)** and ability to interpret analysis results. - Proficiency in **Creo, PLM, and SAP**. Soft Skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Positive mindset and professional attitude. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Efficient resource planning and management capabilities. Roles & Responsibilities - Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design parameters. - Ensure timely delivery of project milestones in line with customer expectations. - Participate in detailed design activities and ensure timely design release. - Follow and promote the **"Design First Time Right"** approach. - Drive **VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering)** activities as part of the brake system development process. - Lead issue resolution activities and propose feasible, cost-effective countermeasures. - Participate in benchmarking activities with relevant stakeholders. - Mentor and coach junior team members on design methodologies, best practices, and engineering standards. - Support continuous improvement initiatives in brake system design and development.
