1 Role **TCS BaNCS** **Product Integration Engineer MogoDB** 2 Required Technical Skill Set 1. Strong hands-on expertise in **MongoDB (Development + Administration)** 2. Experience in: - MongoDB schema design & optimization - **NoSQL data modeling and indexing strategies** - Query performance tuning and aggregation pipelines 3. Working knowledge of: - Java / Spring Boot-based backend services - Microservices architecture - REST APIs and JSON-based integrations 4. Experience with: - **High-volume transactional systems / Banking domain** (preferred based on base JD context) - CI/CD pipelines, Git, Agile methodologies 5. Exposure to: - Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) - Containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) *(good to have)* 3 No. of Requirements **As per the open roles sheet** 4 Desired Experience Range **3 to 8 years of experience** 5 Location of Requirement **Based on open roles sheet** **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have** **Technical** - Strong **NoSQL concepts and distributed database design** - Knowledge of **data consistency, replication** - Experience in **event-driven architecture / API integrations** **Behavioral** - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Product, BA, Ops) - Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills Domain Preference - Banking / Financial Services (Core Banking, Payments, Digital Banking) **Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role** **Development & Data Engineering** - Design and develop scalable **MongoDB data models** for banking/product systems - Develop and optimize **queries, aggregations, and indexing strategies** for high performance - Build and integrate MongoDB with microservices and APIs **Performance & Optimization** - Monitor database performance and **tune queries / collections / indexes** - Handle large datasets and ensure **high throughput and low latency** - Conduct performance testing and troubleshoot production issues **Integration & Solutioning** - Integrate MongoDB with: - Core banking systems - Middleware / API layers - Event streaming systems (Kafka, etc.) *(preferred)* - Support **data migration and modernization initiatives** **Support & Maintenance** - Troubleshoot issues raised by customers / production teams - Maintain technical documentation (schemas, APIs, performance reports) - Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices - Collaborate with Business Analysts / Customers to understand the requirements and translate them into low level design and then code - Coordination between onsite and offshore teams to perform the work - Performance reviews of the system performance and fixing any glitches - Developing reports and data extracts
