Job Title: Reconciliation Business Delivery Manager (Product Owner) Department: CEFS-Reconciliation **About Business Line/Function** The IT Reconciliations Department is managing the reconciliations (Financial, Referential, Systems to Systems, ...) for a number of BNP Paribas's domains (Global Markets, Global Banking, Security Services, Wealth Management, ...) via specialized expert systems (FIS DIM/Intellimatch, Pega PCM, Socrates). Our internal clients are working 24/7 at a worldwide level with a high level of reliability. IT systems are integral to the business and are a key part of the value proposition to clients. These IT systems range from industry standard products for standard process automation to internally developed, often, market leading IT applications. The IT teams owning these IT systems are made up of functions that include Technical and Application production support, Business Analysis & Project Management, Development & Maintenance and Quality Control. BNP Paribas India Solutions is the key partner in all IT functions and has interactions with colleagues in other locations including Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore & Hong Kong. This partnership ranges from sharing the IT workload, executing global strategy to owning global applications offshore. The technology and engineering landscape is wide, encompassing almost all techniques and platforms. It continues to evolve and transform with the market with the business continuing to invest in it. To ensure our efficiency and alignment with the market expectations, we have to ensure that both our architecture and our technologies are up to date and aligned with the most efficient and reliable standards. **Position Purpose** Business Delivery Manager within Reconciliation IT plays the role of expert (IT & functional) to take charge of managing end to end value change, organization efficiency to lead our main teams and systems, managing the Group reconciliations at international level. Will actively participate to the consolidation of our current systems and structure base while being a source of propositions to lead the area. The position has a strong focus on stability, flexibility, and expertise to always guarantee the proper Clients’ expectations. Working in an international Clients base environment but also as part of an Offshore organization, the capacity to interact in a respectful and easy way with both his/her Clients, Management, and team to find compromises while guaranteeing the proper organization and seamless relations is a must. The key interactions are with the Project Sponsor, operations team, delivery teams. Working in a very quality oriented environment, the position requires Agile knowledge as well as Costs and Clients’ benefits concepts. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and adaptability to navigate the complexities of working in a globally distributed environment. The Business Delivery Manager shall also be in charge of upskilling his/her team in full alignment with the expected target organization where in which the Offshore team becomes more involved in critical projects lead in full autonomy whenever possible. This first part of his/her missions shall not exceed 3 to 4 years to enable stabilization of resources to secure efficiency and autonomy. He/She will own the complete product lifecycle – from vision and roadmap definition, through backlog grooming and agile delivery, to post‑release optimization – guaranteeing a best‑in‑class, secure user experience. The role requires tight collaboration with business, compliance, risk, UX, data‑analytics and infrastructure teams, and regular communication of progress, risks and outcomes to senior leadership. **Responsibilities** Key Responsibilities - Takesresponsibilityof the teams,systemsand domains he/sheis in charge of, - The capacity to lead multi-skilled team members and stay focused ontargetis a necessary skill. - Isinvolved to frame the project upfront, define the most adequate governance to lead the project to success. - When relevant,consolidatethe design solution to deliver with architects, with proper sign off from clients and relevant contributors. - Ensure effective communication, continuous alignment of all thecontributorsandtimelyrunning ofgovernance routines. - Be a single point of contact for the clients and the central instances as well as manage the demand reception and comprehension/ challenging along with BOW - Own andmaintainthe backlog and roadmaps for all products in the portfolio.Run regular grooming sessions with the stakeholders and development teams. - Own, design, champion, and drive alignment on the to-be vision for the portfolio. - Work with the delivery leadsforestimationand forprioritization along with clients based on capacity. - Secure the staffing with the support ofthe ofline managers and/or relevant governance body in charge ofallocatingresources. - Ensures a respectful and efficient ambiance in his/her team, - Has good relationships with Senior Management as he/she will have frequent Management meetings, - Able to manageday to daytaskand accountable and responsible for deliveries from offshore. - Ensures both the upskilling of his/her team to bring local autonomies on Projects Management as well as securesthe enhancedskills of his/her team to reduce turnover. - Facilitate sprint planning, dailystandups,demosand retrospectives while removing impediments tomaintaindelivery velocity. - Orchestrate UAT, regression testing and production releases,maintainingrelease documentation,change‑controlartefacts andpost‑releasemonitoring.
