Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job Summary GRIP-Functional Test Engineer **Job Description:** We are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM Functional Tester with strong hands on expertise across SOM, Convergent Mediation (CM), Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and FI CA. The ideal candidate must have solid functional understanding of subscription lifecycle processes, usage/rating validation, billing, invoicing, and financial postings. The role requires proficiency in JIRA for test execution \& defect management, qTest for test case design \& traceability, and Confluence for documentation. Hands on working knowledge of SAP GUI, Fiori apps, and GSN (ServiceNow) is essential for day to day testing and incident handling. The tester should be capable of preparing test data, executing end to end BRIM scenarios, validating integration flows across other SAP system, and supporting automation teams via qTest/Tosca alignment. Strong analytical skills, communication ability, and prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments are key success factors. **Responsibilities:** * Create and execute FUT, SIT, E2E, Regression across SOM, CM, CC, CI, FI-CA. * Validate end-to-end lifecycle: Subscription lifecycle- \>Usage- \>Mediation- \>Rating- \>Billing- \>Posting. * Validate charge plans, price plans, billable items, invoices. * Review test cases and provide clear, actionable feedback inline with requirements. * Execute SAP GUI and Fiori-based test scenarios. * Create \& execute test cases in qTest. * Maintain traceability to user stories. * Prepare test data (BP, Contract Account, Products, Price Plans, Material * Log \& track defects in JIRA. * Participate in triage and retest cycles. * Update JIRA \& qtest with test evidence. * Identify automation candidates and support automation teams in validating flows. * Ensure reusable functional flows for automated regression packs. * Work in Agile ceremonies. Must-Have Qualifications * 4--10 years SAP BRIM testing (SOM, CM, CC, CI, FI-CA). * Strong experience in FUT, SIT, E2E, and Regression. * Strong understanding of usage/rating/billing/invoicing. * Strong knowledge of writing, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios. * Ability to derive test cases from functional specifications, process flows, and user stories. * Experience creating reusable test components for automation teams. * Hands-on in SAP GUI, FIORI, JIRA (execution, defects), qTest (test mgmt). * Experience using SAP GUI \& Fiori. * GSN for incident/change mgmt. Nice-to-Have Qualifications * Experience with Tosca automation. * Logistics domain expertise. * Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple time zones. Key Responsibilities 1.
