Job Title: Production Support Position: Senior Software Engineer Experience: 4- 6 Years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Shift: General Main location: Bangalore Position ID: J0326-2548 Employment Type: Full Time Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Production Support to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your future duties and responsibilities Responsibilities: • Hands-on experience in L1, L2 Prod support • Flexible to work on rotational shifts including night shifts. • Good collaboration/communication required with onshore & offshore prod support team members • Work closely with Dev/QA team & Client Stakeholders. We are looking for a detailoriented and proactive Production Support Engineer to join our Prime Services / Prime Brokerage Technology team. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless operation, stability, and performance of fronttoback Prime Services applications used across trading, operations, and risk groups. Ideal candidate should have Unix ,SQl and Azure fundamentals knowledge. Any monitoring tools like Geneos, Nagios and Dynatrace is an added advantage. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Must-Have Skills: • Perform in-depth issue analysis and troubleshooting • Investigate application logs, system behavior, and failures • Fix data issues using SQL/scripts where applicable • Work on bug fixes, minor enhancements, and configuration changes. Good-to-Have Skills: • Experience in scripting (Shell, Python) • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) • Understanding of ITIL processes • Exposure to application deployments (CI/CD pipelines) CGI is an equal opportunity employer.
