Key Responsibilities: 1. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Management : Develop and manage WBS for R&D projects to ensure accurate tracking of costs and resources 2. Contract Management: Oversee the financial aspects of contracts, including negotiation, execution, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions 3. Budget Management: Oversee and manage budgets for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals and constraints. 4. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support R&D decision-making, including cost-benefit analyses and financial modelling. 5. Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to track the financial performance of R&D activities. 6. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with R&D and other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic planning and forecasting. 7. Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies. Qualifications: • Educational Background : A degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA) preferred. • Experience : 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, particularly within the R&D or technology sectors. Experience with financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, contract management and financial reporting is crucial. • Skills : Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Excel), and excellent communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams is also important.
