Job description

As a Validation Designer, candidate will work to validate Driver Machine Interface application software. The candidate will demonstrate that software or software components fulfills its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated). **OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :** As a Verification Validation (VV) Designer, candidate will work with a highly motivated team involved in development of complex kubernetes based solutions. The candidate will demonstrate that software or software components fulfills its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated). Candidate will interface with system, program, and quality teams to meet commitments for quality, cost and delivery. **RESPONSIBILITIES :** - Define the Test strategy and Test Plan, Estimation and delivery schedule - Specify, design and develop the validation environment tools(Web/desktop applications, VM, test bench, OS, tools installation etc) - Ensure requirements traceability according to Requirements ManagementPlan - Integrate components from various development team, perform integration and prepare validation platform - Use automation scripts, batch files to automate the integration and validation tasks - Produce validation result reports and associated Change Requests(defects) - Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions - Keep a strong link with the architects and designers through the wholeSoftware Validation cycle - Apply organization processes and standards **EDUCATION:** Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering IT, CS, ECE EEE or Equivalent **BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:** Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of code libraries, reusable codes, and model-based developments, He should be agile and adaptive to Project dynamics Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization. Good Team player and have ownership towards assigned task deliveries **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES EXPERIENCE:** - 3-8 years of experience in Software Testing, Requirement Based Testing. - Good knowledge in SW Module/functional and integration testing - Good knowledge of testing techniques like black box, boundary value analysis, Robustness analysis (Exposure to kubernetes based application testing is an added advantage) - Understanding of regression analysis - Knowledge of any configuration management tool like ClearCase etc. - Knowledge of any bug reporting tool like Bugzilla ,Clear Quest etc. - Experience in writing script using Python, Shell and work experince on Linux/Ubuntu platforms is a huge plus - Knowledge in Railway Signaling Domain is an added advantage **SOFTWARE SKILLS :** Good knowledge in software validation and their related integrated development environment Protocols TCP/IP, SNMP, IMP, HTTPS, TLSStandards: CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178Familiarity with use of automation scripts, batch files to automate the integration and validation tasks **IT Skills :** MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) **LANGUAGE SKILLS:** Proficient in English language; Good written and Verbal communication skills
