Location: Bangalore, KA, IN The Selected candidate will work with a highly motivated team involved in development of complex embedded solutions. The candidate will join with our Bangalore development center and will travel to our platform development center located in Europe on need basis. The Ideal candidate will be part of Product Development team in Bangalore. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a Program VV Manager, you will Lead and govern Verification, Integration, and Testing to deliver validated, safe, and highquality Alstom Signaling platforms, aligned with program Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives through close collaboration with Architecture, Safety, and Signaling teams. RESPONSIBILITIES - Define the Program Verification and Validation strategy in the VV Plan, to ensure proper coverage and demonstration that design requirements and intended use cases are met. - Collect the contributions of all involved stakeholders; - Ensure the application and adherence to the reference processes, methods tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate; - Define and agree VV activity schedule - Organize and lead documental verification and reviews; - Manage full verification and validation of the equipment under test; - Monitor and follow-up execution and reporting of activities delegated to experts in other departments; - Define needs, architecture and follow-up implementation of testbenches and analysis tools; - Represent Alstom in front of customers or partners, for instance to provide overview of Test progress, issues, risks and opportunities; - Manage functionally the Program Verification Validation Team and ensure/control their deliverables for the project; - Ensure independence of verification from design; - Select and manage subcontractors; - Manage work packages or WP tasks. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: **Education**: Bachelor/Postgraduate in Engineering IT, CS, ECE EEE or Equivalent **Behavioural Competencies**: - Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of Reference Libraries, reusable codes, and model-based developments. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization - Ability to drive through all obstacles, collaboration with global team in different geo - Flair to Learn technologies specific to Railway domain. - Team Player with prior experience in working with European customer is not mandatory but preferable. Experience: At least 20 years in relevant positions (systems / sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development) in a highly complex and normative environment (railway signalling, aerospace, defense, nuclear) would be a major asset. Technical Competencies - Experience in Verification activities such as Spec Verification and Test Description Verification etc - Understanding on Structural Coverage analysis. - Good Knowledge on VV activities for Safety Critical Software - Good Knowledge on Test Life cycle Defect life Cycle - Good Knowledge on Testing Concepts - Strong Ability in problem solving and debugging, ability to narrow down the root cause in complex syste m The successful candidate will able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process spread across different geographical locations. Ideal Candidate should possess good analytical Skills and should be have experience in testing of On-Board and Trackside products of Railway Industry. Ability to work on complex and distributed system Rail industry background is highly desirable, alternatively similar industries can also be considered. Technical Skills - Good analytical skill and previous experience in test integration are required. In alternative, you will have an experience in system. engineering or Safety Assurance.
