**Key Responsibilities** - **Project Execution:** Manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/piping installations from conception to commissioning within budget and timeline limits. - **Plant Utility Management:** Oversee specialized systems common to copper processing (such as heavy-duty cooling water networks, acid/chemical waste plumbing, high-capacity power distribution, and ventilation/scrubber systems). - **Contractor & Site Supervision:** Direct onsite MEP contractors, monitor daily progress, review shop drawings, and ensure method statements match plant safety rules. - **Testing & Commissioning:** Witness and document pressure tests, electrical insulation checks, and integrated plant loop trials. - **Compliance & Safety:** Enforce strict EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols, OSHA/local factory guidelines, and metallurgical statutory requirements. **Qualifications & Skills** - **Education:** Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - **Experience:** 5 to 8 years of hands-on project engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years inside a heavy process industry, chemical plant, or metals manufacturing facility. - **Technical Knowledge:** Strong grasp of industrial HVAC, high-voltage transformers, furnace cooling systems, heavy piping blueprints, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). - **Software:** Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera, and basic plant design tools.
