Job Title: Project Manager (Capacity planning) Job Location: Gujarat / Kharkhoda / Manesar / Gurgaon Required Qualification: B.Tech in (Mechanical/ Manufacturing /Production) Required Experience: 3.9 – 10 Years Job Responsibilities: • Conduct long-term production capacity planning aligned with business growth projections and new model introductions. • Analyze plant capacity, line balancing, and utilization trends to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. • Prepare capacity expansion plans including manpower, machinery, and infrastructure requirements. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Vendor Development, Finance) for capacity readiness. • Support new model planning through feasibility studies, volume projections, and line loading scenarios. • Develop and maintain capacity planning models, dashboards, and forecasting tools. • Drive productivity improvement initiatives and optimize existing resources. • Monitor capacity vs demand and provide strategic inputs for investment planning (CapEx). • Prepare management reports, presentations, and decision-support analysis. Technical Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (automobile sector preferred). Knowledge of capacity planning tools, line balancing, and production system design. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), data analysis tools, and preferably Power BI / SAP. Familiarity with forecasting, demand planning, and industrial engineering concepts. Behavioral Competencies Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under ambiguity and handle long-term strategic planning. Effective communication and presentation skills. · Attention to detail with structured approach.
