Job description

**Job Purpose:** We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic payment initiatives across PPI Wallets, Payment Aggregator (PA), Payment Gateway (PG), UPI, RuPay Card Issuance & Management, BBPS, Merchant Onboarding, and Digital Financial Services. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of modern payment architectures, microservices-based platforms, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and payment ecosystems while effectively managing project delivery, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and regulatory commitments. **Principal Accountabilities:** **Project Delivery & Program Management** - Lead end-to-end delivery of payment products and technology initiatives. - Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and successful delivery within timelines. - Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Security, Business, and external partners. - Define project scope, milestones, resource plans, and delivery schedules. - Track dependencies, blockers, and ensure timely resolution. - Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog management. - Manage multiple concurrent projects across payment platforms. **Payment Systems & Domain Management** - Drive implementation and enhancement of: - PPI Wallet Services - Payment Aggregator (PA) - Payment Gateway (PG) - UPI Services - RuPay Card Issuance & Management - BBPS Services - Merchant Onboarding Platforms - Reconciliation & Settlement Systems - KYC and Customer Onboarding Solutions - Coordinate with Banks, NPCI, BBPOUs, Network Partners, and Technology Vendors. **Technical Leadership** - Work closely with Architecture and Engineering teams on solution design and implementation. - Review technical estimates, architecture proposals, and deployment plans. - Manage API integrations with banks, NPCI, BBPS, KYC providers, and third-party vendors. - Ensure adherence to technology standards, scalability, performance, and security requirements. - Understand and manage microservices-based applications built on Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and cloud platforms. **Infrastructure & Release Management** - Coordinate production releases and deployment activities. - Manage UAT, production readiness, go-live planning, and rollback strategies. - Oversee cloud infrastructure and application availability requirements. - Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and Business Continuity initiatives. - Ensure adherence to change management and release governance processes. **Regulatory & Audit Coordination** - Support RBI, NPCI, BBPS, RuPay, UIDAI, and partner bank compliance initiatives. - Track and drive closure of audit observations and regulatory commitments. - Ensure documentation and evidence management for audits and inspections. - Coordinate with Information Security and Compliance teams on regulatory requirements. **Vendor & Stakeholder Management** - Manage relationships with technology vendors, banking partners, and payment ecosystem stakeholders. - Track vendor deliverables, SLAs, and escalation management. - Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams. **Incident & Risk Management** - Lead coordination during production incidents and service disruptions. - Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans. - Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Ensure timely communication to stakeholders during critical incidents. **Tech Skills & Education** **Technology Stack Understanding** - Java - Spring Boot - Microservices Architecture - REST APIs - Kafka - Redis - MySQL / PostgreSQL - Angular / React (Basic Understanding) - Kubernetes - Docker - CI/CD Pipelines - Git - API Gateway **Cloud & Infrastructure** - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - AWS - Load Balancers - High Availability Architecture - Disaster Recovery Setup - Monitoring & Observability Tools **Payment Domain Expertise** Strong understanding of: - PPI Wallets - Payment Aggregator (PA) - Payment Gateway (PG) - UPI Ecosystem - RuPay Cards - BBPS - Merchant Onboarding - Reconciliation & Settlement - Chargebacks & Disputes - NPCI Guidelines - RBI Regulatory Framework Updated Date 03-08-2026 Job ID Job\\_455 Department Technology Location Noida, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India Employee Type Full Time
