**Manager - PMO** **Role Summary** This role will support managing a portfolio of pharmaceutical products across multiple therapeutic categories, ensuring aligned execution across development, manufacturing (API \& formulations), supply chain, and regulatory functions. The role will act as the central PMO anchor for portfolio tracking, stakeholder coordination, and leadership reporting, enabling visibility and control across parallel product programs. **Key Responsibilities** **Portfolio Planning \& Tracking** * Track and monitor multiple product pipelines and commercial portfolios spanning development, scale-up, and launch stages. * Maintain integrated portfolio dashboards covering key milestones (tech transfer, manufacturing readiness, launch execution). * Support prioritization across projects within the category based on timelines, dependencies, and business impact. **Cross-Functional Coordination** * Coordinate closely with API and formulation manufacturing sites, R\&D teams, SCM, regulatory, and commercial functions to ensure milestone adherence. * Align site-level execution (manufacturing readiness, material availability, validation timelines) with portfolio commitments. * Facilitate structured communication across stakeholders to resolve interdependencies between projects. **Management Reporting \& Governance** * Prepare category-level MIS, portfolio health dashboards, and executive summaries for the Category Head and senior leadership. * Drive governance forums (weekly/monthly reviews), ensuring clear action tracking, escalation of bottlenecks, and decision follow-through. * Provide structured updates on launch readiness, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and key project KPIs. **Risk, Dependency \& Issue Management** * Identify risks across API sourcing, formulation scale-up, manufacturing capacity, and supply chain execution. * Track inter-project dependencies and ensure timely escalation of critical risks impacting portfolio delivery. * Support mitigation planning and ensure closure through stakeholder follow-ups. **Launch Readiness \& Execution Support** * Monitor end-to-end launch readiness including manufacturing readiness (API \& formulation), packaging material availability, and supply planning. * Coordinate with global/corporate project management teams to ensure synchronized execution across markets. **External Partner \& Process Oversight** * Coordinate with external partners (CDMOs, testing labs, vendors) for project timelines, documentation, and deliverables. * Ensure adherence to defined PMO processes, documentation standards, and reporting protocols. **Experience \& Qualifications** * MBA/PGDM in Pharmaceutical Management from Tier 1 Institute * 5--8 years of experience in Project Management / PMO within pharmaceutical organizations. * Mandatory exposure to both API and formulation manufacturing environments, with hands-on involvement in cross-functional project coordination. * Experience in managing or supporting multiple products / portfolio-level tracking * Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, regulatory milestones, and commercial launch processes. **Key Skills** * Portfolio tracking, MIS, and Executive-level reporting * Hands-on experience with MS Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel) as well as Data Analytics tools * Strong Stakeholder Management across manufacturing sites and corporate teams * Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera / Excel trackers) * Ability to handle multiple parallel projects with high complexity and interdependencies * Analytical mindset with focus on risk identification and resolution tracking
