The role will be responsible for planning, executing, and sustaining facility expansion projects, manufacturing footprint initiatives, utility systems, building infrastructure, and maintenance excellence programs. The incumbent will manage the complete project lifecycle from concept to commissioning while ensuring world-class facility reliability, safety compliance, and cost-effective maintenance practices. The ideal candidate will possess 12-15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments with significant exposure to EPC project execution, facility management, utility systems, asset management, statutory compliance, and maintenance leadership. This role requires a strong leader capable of delivering projects on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) metrics while maintaining a safe, compliant, and highly reliable manufacturing infrastructure. **Qualifications** **Education & Experience** - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. - Master's Degree / MBA preferred. - PMP, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. **Experience** - 10-15 years of experience in: - Facility Engineering - Plant Engineering - Industrial Infrastructure Projects - Maintenance Management - Utilities Management - Capital Projects **Key Responsibilities** **Strategic Projects & Facility Expansion** - Lead factory footprint optimization and infrastructure development projects. - Drive facility expansion, brownfield development, capacity enhancement, and operational improvement projects. - Manage complete EPC project lifecycle, including: - Feasibility studies - Concept design - Engineering reviews - Procurement - Construction management - Commissioning and handover - Develop project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and execution strategies. **Facilities Management** **Building Infrastructure** - Administrative buildings - Manufacturing facilities - Warehouses - Roads and internal infrastructure - Fire systems - Security systems **Utilities Management** **Ensure Reliable Operation And Optimization Of** - Electrical distribution systems - DG sets - Air compressors - HVAC systems - Chillers and cooling systems - Water supply systems - STP/ETP facilities - Fire protection systems - Industrial gases and utility networks Drive energy management initiatives focused on cost reduction and sustainability. **Maintenance Excellence** - Develop and implement world-class maintenance programs. - Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies. - Improve asset availability and equipment reliability. - Establish maintenance KPIs and governance mechanisms. - Lead maintenance planning and shutdown management activities. - Drive MTBF and MTTR improvements. - Optimize maintenance costs while improving operational effectiveness. **Reliability & Asset Management** - Develop long-term asset management strategies. - Implement condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance tools. - Utilize digital systems for maintenance planning and asset tracking. - Drive lifecycle cost optimization of critical assets. - Lead criticality assessment and reliability improvement projects. **Safety & Compliance Leadership** - Champion a Zero Harm safety culture. - Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to facilities, utilities, and maintenance operations. - Conduct periodic safety audits and risk assessments. - Drive contractor safety management programs. **Regulatory & Statutory Compliance** Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all statutory approvals and ensuring facility compliance. **Working Knowledge Of** - Factories Act - Gujarat Factory Rules - Fire NOC requirements - Labour laws - Electrical Inspector approvals - Pollution Control Board regulations - Environmental regulations - Building approvals - Boiler regulations - Pressure vessel compliance - Energy regulations - ISO Standards and regulations - Contractor compliance requirements Coordinate with government authorities and consultants to ensure timely approvals and compliance throughout project execution and operations. **Project Controls & Continuous Improvement** Apply Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology to drive project and maintenance excellence. **Responsible For** **Plan** - Scope development - Resource planning - Budgeting - Risk assessment **Do** - Project execution - Contractor management - Maintenance deployment **Check** - KPI reviews - Quality audits - Progress reviews - Cost monitoring **Act** - Corrective actions - Process improvement - Best practice deployment - Sustainability initiatives **Digitalization & Smart Facilities** - Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies for f
