The company employs about 105,000 people in more than 90 countries and reported revenues of approximately €39.1 billion in fiscal year 2025. **Role Description** The Psse Expert role at Siemens Energy is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the specialist will use PSS®E and related power system analysis tools to model, simulate, and analyze transmission networks and grid performance. Daily responsibilities may include conducting load flow, short-circuit, stability, and contingency analyses, preparing technical reports, and supporting grid planning and integration of conventional and renewable generation assets. The Psse Expert will collaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to validate network models, optimize system operation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and utility standards. The role also involves providing technical guidance, documentation, and occasional training or support to internal and external stakeholders on power system studies and software usage. **Qualifications** - Strong proficiency in PSS®E and other power system simulation tools, with experience in load flow, short-circuit, and stability studies. - Proven skill in derivation of AC equivalent network for Grid integration projects involving HVDC, STATCOMS and Renewables - Solid foundation in power systems engineering, including transmission planning, grid integration of renewables, and protection and control concepts. - Ability to analyze complex technical data, prepare clear study reports, and present findings to engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders. - Comfort working with industry standards, utility regulations, and grid codes relevant to transmission and generation projects. - Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project planning and execution. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, with a focus on power systems preferred. - Relevant professional experience in transmission system analysis, consulting, or utility operations; exposure to large-scale projects is an advantage. - Willingness to work on-site in Gurugram and engage with global teams in a diverse, inclusive work environment.
