This role involves shaping, architecting, and leading end-to-end technical solutions for government industry in India and South Asia, leveraging IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI portfolio. **Required Technical And Professional Expertise** The ideal candidate combines **strong technical depth, client-facing experience, and public sector domain understanding** , with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable and innovative solutions **Key Responsibilities** **Client Engagement & Solutioning** - Lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders across government and public sector organizations - Understand client business challenges and translate them into robust technology solutions - Design end-to-end solution architectures leveraging IBM Cloud, AI, Automation, Data & Security offerings - Drive solution proposals, RFP responses, and technical presentations **Solution Architecture & Delivery Leadership** - Own solution architecture from ideation through implementation - Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and public sector compliance requirements - Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and governance - Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies **Pre-Sales & Business Development** - Partner with sales teams to shape opportunities and support deal closure - Develop compelling technical value propositions and solution narratives - Contribute to account growth strategies and pipeline development - Support demos, PoCs, and client workshops **Innovation & Thought Leadership** - Stay updated with public sector trends (Digital India, Smart Governance, Citizen Services, etc.) - Drive innovation by integrating AI, cloud, and data-led transformation solutions - Represent IBM in industry forums, client briefings, and thought leadership sessions **Collaboration & Leadership** - Collaborate across IBM teams (Consulting, Technology, Research) - Mentor junior architects and technical professionals - Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders **Partner Collaboration & Ecosystem Engagement** - Collaborate with technology partners, ISVs, GSIs, and system integrators to co-create integrated solutions - Build and leverage a strong partner ecosystem to address complex public sector requirements - Lead joint solutioning efforts and ensure seamless integration of partner technologies with IBM offerings - Align partner capabilities with client needs to deliver differentiated value propositions - Engage in co-selling and co-delivery models with partners to accelerate deal closure and implementation - Maintain awareness of partner landscapes, alliances, and emerging ecosystem opportunities **Preferred Technical And Professional Experience** **Technical Expertise** - Strong experience in solution architecture and enterprise systems design - Knowledge of cloud platforms (IBM Cloud / AWS / Azure / Hybrid Cloud) - Expertise in one or more domains: - AI & Data - Application modernization - Integration architecture - Security & compliance **Public Sector & Partner Experience** - Proven experience working with government / PSU / public sector clients - Experience collaborating with partners, system integrators, and technology vendors - Understanding of government frameworks, compliance, and procurement processes - Experience in RFP/tender responses and multi-party solutioning **Professional Experience** - 10–18 years in technology consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales - Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills - Demonstrated ability to work in multi-organization / partner-led environments
