Purchase Engineer

Job description

- Manage daily PR-PO cycle including quote comparison, PO creation, and order follow-ups. - Maintain accurate procurement data including PO trackers, delivery status, GRN follow-ups, and invoicing documentation. - Exposure in indirect Material Planning and procurement. - Track orders and coordinate with vendors for on-time delivery. - Monitor inventory and stock levels and initiate procurement as required. - Ensure procurement activities comply with company policy and procedure. - Coordinate with stores team for proper storage and material handling. - Co -ordinate with Production team for new trail approval and executions for Indirect materials. - Preparation of monthly schedule for indirect material and scheduling to Vendors. - Preparation of MIS data month on month. - Preparation of supplier performance report on month on month. - Exposure in commodity like consumables, spares and tools. - Excellent organizational ,coordination and problem solving skills. - Ability to work individually and within a team. - Should have knowledge in SAP in MM model. - Should have advance excel knowledge & PPT. - Cost negotiation and cost reduction initiatives.
