QA Automation Lead

Roles and Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Behave Framework. • Develop and execute comprehensive automated test scenarios for API, Functional, Regression, and End-to-End Testing. • Plan, design, and execute Performance Testing activities and analyze application performance results. • Develop and maintain automated API test suites to ensure application functionality, reliability, and quality. • Collaborate with Development, Product, and Business teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies. • Perform manual and exploratory testing wherever required to ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Identify, log, track, and manage defects throughout the complete defect lifecycle. • Conduct root Cause Analysis for critical defects and recurring quality issues. • Configure and manage testing tools, test environments, and automation infrastructure. • Monitor test coverage, automation effectiveness, quality metrics, and overall product quality. • Prepare and communicate test plans, test execution reports, defect reports, and quality status updates to relevant stakeholders. • Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices. • Evaluate new testing tools and technologies and implement innovative solutions to improve quality engineering capabilities. • Ensure adherence to established QA standards, processes, compliance requirements, and software testing best practices. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the timely delivery of high-quality software products. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Software Testing. • SDET experience is preferred. • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), process improvement, and software testing best practices. • Strong hands-on expertise in Python-based Test Automation and Behave Framework. • Extensive experience in API Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Manual Testing. • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reusable test automation frameworks. • Hands-on experience in designing and executing complex end-to-end automated test scenarios. • Strong experience in automation and performance testing. • Experience with testing tool administration, test environment configuration, and test data management. • Strong knowledge of defect tracking, Root Cause Analysis, test reporting, and quality metrics. • Excellent analytical, research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to evaluate testing tools, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective testing solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Basic understanding of industry trends, compliance requirements, quality standards, and budget considerations. • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
