**Senior QA Automation Engineer** **Location: Chennai Work from Office** Role Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, a balanced background in manual and automation testing, and familiarity with industry-standard tools and hardware domains. This role requires active participation in office-based work, dedication to quality, and effective team collaboration. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Python - Conduct manual and automated testing across diverse platforms (video, audio, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.) - Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to define, refine, and execute test strategies - Utilize and manage test tracking and defect management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub) - Execute end-to-end automated tests using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar - Troubleshoot, document, and communicate test results and defects clearly - Perform hardware integration and functional validation - Participate actively in team meetings, code reviews, and agile processes - Maintain detailed test documentation and reports Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Minimum 6 years QA experience in automation and manual testing - Proficiency in Python for testing and scripting - Experience on C, C++, Javascript, Typescript will be a plus - Hands-on experience with Jira, GitHub, or comparable tools - Expertise in automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or equivalents - Good understanding of hardware interfaces and protocols (video, audio, Bluetooth, WiFi) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and inter-personal abilities - Self-motivated, dedicated, and able to work effectively from office Why Join Us? - Work with cutting-edge hardware and software technologies - Collaborative and inclusive team environment - Opportunity for growth and skill development - Office-based role in a vibrant workplace
