**Job Summary** We are looking for a skilled **Automation Test Engineer** with strong expertise in **Selenium and Java** to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and CI/CD integration, ensuring high-quality software delivery. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain **automated test scripts** using **Selenium WebDriver with Java** - Develop and enhance **automation frameworks** (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid, or BDD) - Execute automated and manual test cases to validate functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues - Participate in **requirement analysis**, test planning, and test case design - Integrate test automation with **CI/CD pipelines** (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) - Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing - Maintain test reports and provide test metrics to stakeholders - Ensure best practices in automation, coding standards, and test documentation - Collaborate with Agile teams and actively participate in **Scrum ceremonies** **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Strong experience in **Automation Testing using Selenium with Java** - Proficiency in **Java programming** - Hands-on experience with **TestNG / JUnit** - Experience in frameworks: **Hybrid / POM / BDD (Cucumber)** - Good understanding of **SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies** - Experience with version control tools like **Git** - Knowledge of build tools such as **Maven or Gradle** - Experience in executing tests on **CI/CD tools** (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) - Familiar with defect tracking tools like **JIRA** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and documentation skills **Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)** - Experience with **API automation** (Rest Assured / Postman) - Knowledge of **SQL / Database Testing** - Exposure to **Performance Testing** (JMeter) - Experience with **Docker / Cloud testing** - Knowledge of **Playwright or Cypress** (added advantage) **Educational Qualification** - Bachelors degree in **computer science / IT / Engineering** or equivalent
