**Role & responsibilities** Job Title: QA Engineer (Java, Elasticsearch, ETL, Database Testing) Experience: 3-8 Years Location: Pan India Employment Type: Full-Time **Preferred candidate profile** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Elasticsearch, ETL Testing, and Database Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data integrity, testing enterprise applications, automating test processes, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across data-driven platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing. Validate ETL workflows, data transformations, and data migration processes. Conduct database testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop and maintain automation test frameworks using Java. Validate Elasticsearch indexing, search functionality, and performance. Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios. Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure. Collaborate closely with Developers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality assurance activities. Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Nice to Have Experience in Big Data Testing. Exposure to Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks environments. Experience testing cloud-based applications on Azure or AWS. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD testing practices.
