Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements • Execute functional testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing • Validate application behavior across UI, APIs, and integrated systems • Develop and maintain test automation scripts for functional validation • Create and execute performance testing scripts (load, stress, endurance testing) • Identify, track, and manage defects using defect management tools • Perform re-testing and regression cycles to ensure defect closure • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders • Participate in test planning, estimation, and release validation activities • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and quality standards Required Skills • Strong experience in: • Test case design and test scenario management • Functional testing and smoke testing • Hands-on experience with: • Automation scripting tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) • Performance testing tools (JMeter or similar) • Understanding of: • Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) • Defect lifecycle management • Experience with: • Test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) • Basic knowledge of: • API testing (Postman, REST APIs) • Familiarity with CI/CD integrated testing Good to Have • Experience in performance testing frameworks and scripting [Re: Demo R...s [Urgent] | Outlook] • Exposure to test automation pipelines and DevOps practices • Knowledge of: • API automation frameworks (RestAssured, Karate, etc.) • Security and non-functional testing basics Added Advantage (Preferred) • Experience in testing GenAI / AI-based applications, including: • Conversational flows (chatbots, assistants) • Prompt-response validation and accuracy checks • Handling edge cases such as hallucination, ambiguity, and context retention • Exposure to: • AI-driven test automation or validation frameworks • Integration testing across AI + ITSM + APIs (ServiceNow / dashboards / automation platforms)
