**Job Role:** QA Lead **Employment Type:** Full Time **Location:** Gurgaon **Years of experience: 6+ Years** **Position Overview** We are seeking a passionate and experienced QA Lead with 6+ years of quality assurance experience (manual + automation) to join our team. In this leadership role, you will drive test strategy, lead the QA team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. **Key Responsibilities** **•** Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and analysts, fostering best practices in both manual and automated testing. **•** Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies aligned with project goals. **•** Utilize automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) to design and develop automated test suites. **•** Coordinate closely with cross-functional teamsdevelopment, product, operations to understand testing requirements and timelines. **•** Analyze test results, track bug trends, and perform root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement. **•** Generate clear and actionable test reports and metrics for stakeholders, recommending process optimizations. **•** Implement and advocate for QA best practices, quality metrics, and risk-based testing approaches. **•** Ensure adherence to release schedules without compromising on quality; proactively manage testing risks and dependencies. **•** Contribute to QA process improvements, including test infrastructure, tools, and methodologies. **Required Skills & Qualifications** **•** Experience: Minimum of 6 years in quality assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. **•** Automation Tools: Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit (or similar) for building and maintaining test frameworks. **•** Leadership: Proven track record of leading QA teams, mentoring members, and driving a quality-first mindset. **•** Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to perform root cause analysis. **•** Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly articulate test results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders. Testing Methodologies: Solid understanding of different testing types (functional, regression, performance) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
