**QA & Test Engineering Lead (SaaS, API-First, Automation-Driven)** **Experience: 10 + Years (Mandatory)** **Location :** Bengaluru **Role Overview** - This role is strictly for candidates in the 10+ years experience band. - We are looking for a highly experienced QA & Test Engineering Lead to own quality strategy and execution for a cloud-native, headless, API-first SaaS product. - This role carries end-to-end responsibility for test strategy definition, automation architecture, and release quality governance, ensuring every release meets high quality, reliability, and scalability standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and own overall quality and test strategy for a multi-tenant SaaS platform. - Establish quality benchmarks, coverage standards, and release readiness criteria. - Act as the final quality authority for customer-facing releases. - Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks. - Ensure automation is embedded into CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate closely with Full Stack and Cloud & DevOps Engineers. - Mentor and guide QA/Test Engineers. **Required Experience** - Total experience: 1012 years in QA/Test/Quality Engineering roles. - Proven leadership of test strategy and automation for SaaS platforms. - Hands-on ownership of automation frameworks and release quality. - Candidates outside the 10–12 years band may not be considered. **Technical Skills** **Test Automation:** API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, Karate UI / E2E Testing: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium Test Frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, pytest **SaaS & API-First:** Microservices and distributed systems testing Contract testing, schema validation, API versioning **Cloud & DevOps:** CI/CD integration AWS-based test environments Docker-based test execution **Nice to Have** B2B or enterprise SaaS testing experience Performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, Gatling) Security testing awareness (OWASP) Agile/Scrum experience **Soft Skills** Strong leadership and ownership mindset Ability to influence senior stakeholders Excellent communication and documentation skills Data-driven and system-thinking approach
