QA Test Engineer

Job description

**Key Skills Required** - Strong **Manual Testing** experience (Primary Skill) - Basic to Intermediate **Python + Selenium** automation experience - Strong testing fundamentals and automation concepts - Knowledge of **CI/CD pipelines** - Basic exposure to **Performance Testing** using JMeter or LoadRunner - Understanding of **GitHub Copilot** and its usage in testing activities - Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives - Basic Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts **Responsibilities** - Understand business and application functionality - Create and execute test scenarios and test cases - Identify, log, and track defects - Support automation testing activities using Python and Selenium - Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders - Work independently with minimal supervision **Preferred Skillsets** - 4-7 years of QA/Test Engineering experience - Strong manual testing expertise with automation exposure - Around 2-3 years of Python experience is acceptable if fundamentals are strong - Familiarity with performance testing metrics such as response time and throughput - Ability to clear technical interviews focused on Python, Selenium, and Automation Testing
