**Analyst / Sr. Analyst Technical Assessment and Monitoring (Risk Advisory - MEP)** Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented **Analyst / Sr. Analyst (MEP Specialist)** to join our **Technical Assessment and Monitoring** team within Risk Advisory. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating engineering risks, monitoring site installation progress, and managing financial and technical compliance specifically for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEPF) systems. You will be responsible for executing project assignments, coordinating with specialized internal and external consultants, managing accounts throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring the highest standards of deliverable quality, engineering design compliance, and process management. **Key Responsibilities** **MEP Technical Assessment & Cost Estimation** - **Develop detailed project cost estimates and budgets** specifically for complex MEPF packages, including HVAC, electrical substations, low-voltage (LV) systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. - **Demonstrate thorough knowledge** of MEP Bill of Quantities (BOQ) level estimation, specialized quantity surveying, and market rate analysis for both specialized equipment procurement and MEP labor. - **Conduct detailed engineering reviews** and certifications of contractor bills for MEP works executed and equipment delivered on-site. - **Evaluate value engineering opportunities** in MEP design configurations to optimize project costs without compromising on performance or safety regulations. **Site Monitoring & Quality Assurance** - **Conduct physical site visits** to monitor installation milestones, verify physical progress of MEP services against approved shop drawings, and summarize key technical findings into actionable risk reports. - **Monitor testing and commissioning parameters** (e.g., pressure testing, electrical load testing, air balancing) to ensure infrastructure meets performance briefs. - **Review safety and quality management practices** for MEP installations on-site, identifying and reporting any engineering non-compliances or spatial clashes. **Financial & Regulatory Monitoring** - **Review sales MIS data**, tracking demands raised and collections made relative to MEP completion milestones. - **Monitor ESCROW accounts**, auditing inflows and outflows to ensure overall project financial compliance. - **Leverage a working knowledge** of local building codes, National Building Code (NBC) guidelines, environmental regulations, and power/water sanctioning timelines applicable to Residential, Commercial, and Township projects. **Project & Account Management** - **Manage assignments from end-to-end**, ensuring timely delivery, process compliance, and seamless coordination between civil and MEP interfaces. - **Coordinate effectively** with service consultants, OEM vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining robust client account management during project lifecycles. **Candidate Profile** **Education & Experience** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering**. - **Experience:** Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in MEP project management, engineering risk advisory, MEP quantity surveying, or bill certification for large-scale real estate projects. **Technical & Soft Skills** - **Engineering Acumen:** Strong ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, layout drawings, and equipment datasheets. - **Tools:** Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis.
