Quality Engineer (Off-roll)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Coordinate and supervise the end-to-end manufacturing process to ensure product and process quality. - Expertise in handling suppliers and manufacturing processes. - Hands-on experience in Hot Rolling, Fabrication, Surface Coating, and Hot Dip Galvanizing. - Prepare detailed reports on performance, quality, and defect rates. - Document non-conformities promptly and recommend corrective actions for quick resolution. - Assess product quality and ensure compliance with tolerance standards by inspecting products, components, and materials. - Participate in QA and production meetings with the manufacturing team. - Coordinate with TPI and customers regarding project status and inspection planning schedules. **Preferred candidate profile** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or Metallurgy Engineering. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Experience in solar projects is preferred. - Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, quality control and assurance principles, GD&T, quality tools, and documentation.
