Quality Engineer

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Coordinate / Supervise end to end manufacturing process to ensure product and process quality. - Expertise in handling suppliers / process. - Expertise in Hot Rolling, Fabrication and Surface coating / Hot Dip Galvanizing - Expertise in making detailed reports outlining performance, quality, and defect rates. - Document nonconformities immediately and recommend techniques for prompt resolution. - Assessed quality of products and compliance with tolerance standards by inspecting products, components, and materials. - Participating in all QA and production meetings with the manufacturing team. - TPI and Customer Coordinator with project status and inspection planning schedule. **Preferred candidate profile** - Bachelors degree in mechanical / production / Automobile / Metallurgy - Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality control and assurance, with experience in Solar projects preferred. - Strong knowledge of Steel making Process, quality control and assurance principles, tools, GD & T and documentation.
