**Position: QMS Manager** **Location: Mysuru** **Industry: EMS** **Position Overview** The QMS Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS) across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, Rail, and Automotive sectors. The role ensures full compliance with applicable international standards, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific expectations, while fostering a strong quality culture and driving continuous improvement across the oorganization. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, implement, and sustain an integrated QMS aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Ensure compliance with standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and IRIS/ISO 22163. - Lead internal and external audits, certification processes, and customer assessments. - Interface with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and key customers (FAA/EASA, FDA, OEMs, primes). - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies. - Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across functions. - Monitor QMS performance metrics and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) **Requirements** - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related discipline - 10+ years of experience in Quality/QMS roles within regulated manufacturing industries - Hands-on experience with multiple QMS standards (AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, IRIS/ISO 22163) - Proven track record in managing external audits and certifications - Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (FAA/EASA, FDA, customer primes, OEMs) - Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage. **Skills & Competencies** - In-depth knowledge of QMS, compliance, and regulatory frameworks - Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Detail-oriented with a pragmatic, business-focused approach - Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills - Proficiency in quality tools: CAPA, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, MSA, and 8D.
