**The opportunity:** Join Hitachi Energy's India Development Centre (IDC), an RD organization in Chennai and Bangalore that works with global RD and research centers across multiple countries. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring successful delivery of digital solutions and product capabilities. You will contribute to requirement analysis, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven decision-making across product teams. **How youll make an impact:** - Work as a Business Analyst across multiple products, handling requirement gathering and analysis. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications. - Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring clarity and completeness of requirements. - Support Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. - Perform data analysis and generate insights using reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms. - Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to support decision-making. - Work with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and DevOps for smooth delivery. - Use Azure DevOps for backlog management, user stories, tracking, and documentation. - **Facilitate** effective communication across teams and ensure alignment among stakeholders. - Continuously explore and learn domain knowledge related to power systems / power grids. - Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while supporting your team. **Your background:** - Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. - Experience: 68 years of experience working as a Business Analyst across multiple products or platforms. - Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst. - Strong understanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile environments. - Experience as a Scrum Master is an added advantage. - Hands-on experience in data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar. - Knowledge of Azure DevOps for requirement and backlog management. - Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills. - Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Interest in or experience with power domain / power grids is preferred. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
