Responsibilities: - **Planning:**Develop project plans, define scope, set deadlines, and estimate resources (hardware, software, and staffing). - **Execution management:** Lead cross-functional teams through execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring commitments are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality. Manage dependencies, remove impediments, and make timely trade-off decisions when plans change. - **Monitoring and control:**Track project progress, identify and manage risks. - **Stakeholder communication:** Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management, architects, product management, customers, and development teams. Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and changes in commitments clearly and transparently. - **Customer engagements:** Manage specific customer engagements across build delivery, driving issue resolution and build qualification. - **Continuous improvement:** Drive continuous improvement of development and test processes leading to improved product quality and increased team efficiency. Qualifications: - 12+ years of product-development experience, including 3–4 years managing engineering teams. - Tech / B.E. or a related technical degree (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable discipline). - Domain: wired networking preferred; related domains (telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, embedded systems, or storage networking) also acceptable. - Demonstrated technical depth to engage architects and senior engineers as a peer on system architecture, high-level estimation, feasibility, technology trade-offs, and technical risk.
