**Role** : The Assistant Manager role is responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of operations related to derivative products and capital markets. The individual will be tasked with staying informed about procedural changes, SMF guidelines, and maintaining strong domain expertise. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing international clients, ensuring effective communication, and providing process improvement ideas. **Reports into** : DM/Manager **Job Responsibilities** : (**Must have**) - Understanding and staying informed of the changes with procedures and SMF guidelines, which involves keeping up-to-date with the latest regulations and guidelines related to financial markets and operations. - Possessing good knowledge of derivative products and their lifecycle, including various types of derivatives, their pricing, risk management, and regulatory requirements. - Demonstrating strong domain expertise in capital markets, securities, and related areas, which involves a deep understanding of the industry, market trends, and best practices. - Exhibiting excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as the role involves interacting with internal clients who may be located remotely, necessitating effective telephone and email communication. - Demonstrating proficiency as a people manager, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, provide guidance and support, and foster a positive work environment. - Having experience in managing international clients, which requires cultural sensitivity, understanding of diverse business practices, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. - Possessing working experience with Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters platforms, which are widely used in the financial industry for data analysis, trading, and research. - Having knowledge of the Golden Source application, which is likely a proprietary software used within the organization for data management or related purposes. **Job Responsibilities** : - Experience in providing process improvement ideas, which involves identifying areas for optimization, streamlining workflows, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. - Experience in capital markets and security setup, which involves understanding the processes and procedures related to setting up and managing financial instruments and securities. **Criteria** : **(Must have)** - Any Graduate - 5+ years of experience in managing SMF /reference data, including 1 Year as AM - Good communication skills - Good people manager **Criteria** : **(Desired)** - Experience on providing process improvement ideas - Experience in capital markets and security setup **Shifts timings:** Rotational Shift (9hours 15Min) **Week Off :** Sat-Sun **Transport :** Yes, as per Hexaware policy
