**Job Title: Regulatory Compliance & Claims Substantiation Lead** **Location: Kolkata (Onsite - Work from Office)** **About the Role:** We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused **Regulatory Compliance & Claims Substantiation Lead** to support regulatory compliance, product claims validation, and commercialization activities across Dot & Key's skincare portfolio. The role will work closely with Formulation, Quality, Marketing, Packaging, and external testing partners to ensure products comply with applicable regulations while enabling scientifically substantiated product claims. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review formulations, ingredients, packaging artwork, and product labels to ensure regulatory compliance across applicable markets. - Support claims substantiation through coordination of clinical, consumer, efficacy, and safety studies. - Liaise with external laboratories and research partners to execute testing and generate scientific evidence for product claims. - Partner with Marketing, Formulation, and Regulatory teams to validate product communication, claims, and launch materials. - Monitor changes in cosmetic regulations and assess their impact on existing and upcoming products. - Maintain regulatory documentation, testing reports, product dossiers, and compliance trackers. - Support regulatory submissions, certifications, audits, and documentation required for product commercialization. - Coordinate with Quality, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely regulatory readiness for product launches. - Assist in resolving regulatory and compliance-related queries during product development and commercialization. **Preferred Skills & Know-how:** - Good understanding of cosmetic, skincare, and personal care regulations. - Experience in claims substantiation, clinical studies, and consumer testing. - Knowledge of ingredient compliance, labeling requirements, and regulatory documentation. - Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills. - Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities. **Experience Requirements:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. - 5 - 8 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, or Claims Substantiation within Beauty, Personal Care, Cosmetics, or FMCG. - Experience coordinating with external testing agencies, certification bodies, and regulatory stakeholders preferred.
