Its workforce of more than 74,500 employees supports this mission of inclusive, customer-centric banking. **Role Description** The Relationship Manager Agri Business is a full-time on-site position based in Silchar, responsible for managing and growing the agricultural banking portfolio. This role includes developing and maintaining relationships with agri customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable banking products such as crop loans, term loans, and other agri-focused solutions. The Relationship Manager will conduct regular customer visits, assess creditworthiness, support documentation and loan processing, and ensure timely follow-up for repayments and renewals. The role also involves close coordination with branch teams, participation in local outreach activities, monitoring portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The position calls for proactive engagement with the agricultural community to support business growth while promoting Bandhan Bank’s values and customer service standards. **Qualifications** - Strong relationship management skills, including customer engagement, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships. - Knowledge of agricultural finance, rural banking products, and basic credit assessment for agri and allied sectors. - Proficiency in sales and business development, with the ability to identify opportunities, meet targets, and grow the agri business portfolio ethically. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly to diverse customer groups. - Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities for evaluating customer needs, assessing risks, and recommending appropriate solutions. - Comfort with basic banking systems, documentation processes, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements. - Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, commerce, finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage. - Prior experience in agri or rural banking, microfinance, or relationship management roles will be highly beneficial. - Ability to work on-site
