The Relationship Manager will build and manage relationships with real estate developers, understand their financing needs, and offer appropriate developer finance solutions. Daily responsibilities include sourcing new business, conducting due diligence, preparing and presenting credit proposals, and coordinating with credit, legal, and operations teams to ensure smooth disbursal and post-disbursal monitoring. The role involves regular client meetings, portfolio review, risk assessment, and timely resolution of customer queries to support healthy asset quality and business growth. The Relationship Manager will also track market trends, competition offerings, and regulatory updates to identify opportunities and improve product positioning. **Qualifications** - Strong relationship management skills with experience in client acquisition, engagement, and retention, preferably in developer or real estate finance. - Sound understanding of corporate and real estate finance concepts, credit assessment, risk analysis, and financial statement interpretation. - Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to interact with developers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage multiple transactions, and meet timelines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. - Proficiency in relevant office and financial tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM systems) and comfort working with data and documentation. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM in Finance or Marketing) is an advantage. - Prior experience in developer finance, real estate lending, or corporate lending with a bank or NBFC is highly beneficial. - Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
