The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and/or business customers, providing tailored banking solutions such as accounts, loans, cards, and investment products. The role includes conducting regular customer meetings, understanding financial needs, cross-selling appropriate products, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will monitor account activity, manage risk and compliance requirements, and ensure adherence to bank policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with branch teams, achieving sales and service targets, supporting digital banking adoption, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. **Qualifications** - Customer relationship management and client service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term engagement. - Sales, cross-selling, and negotiation skills to identify customer needs and recommend suitable banking products. - Knowledge of retail and/or business banking products, such as deposits, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment solutions. - Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer profiles, manage risk, and resolve service issues effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with diverse customers and internal stakeholders. - Comfort with digital banking platforms and basic MS Office tools; ability to support customers in using digital services. - Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications are an advantage. - Prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing sales roles is preferred. - Ability to work in an on-site branch environment, meet performance targets, and comply with regulatory and bank standards.
