The role involves acquiring and managing working capital relationships with business customers, understanding their financing needs, and recommending suitable products such as cash credit, overdrafts, term loans, and trade finance solutions. The Relationship Manager will regularly meet clients, conduct financial and credit assessments, prepare proposals, and coordinate with credit, operations, and product teams to ensure timely sanction and disbursal. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, managing risk, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and resolving client queries promptly. The role also requires achieving revenue and asset growth targets, deepening existing relationships through cross-selling of banking products, and maintaining updated market and industry knowledge. **Qualifications** - Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with business clients. - Sound understanding of working capital products, trade finance, business banking, and general banking operations. - Financial analysis and credit assessment capabilities, including interpreting financial statements and evaluating business performance. - Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for client meetings and internal discussions. - Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with digital banking tools and CRM systems. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional certification in finance or banking is an advantage. - Prior experience in corporate or business banking, preferably in working capital or SME lending, is highly desirable. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet sales and portfolio quality targets, and adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
