The bank’s strong balance sheet and sustained growth reflect its focus on innovation, customer-centricity, and long-term career opportunities. **Role Description** This full-time, on-site Relationship Manager – Working Capital Loans role is based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of business customers with working capital requirements, including SMEs and mid-corporates. Daily activities include identifying prospects, conducting financial and credit assessments, structuring working capital solutions, preparing credit proposals, and coordinating with internal credit, risk, and operations teams for timely approvals and disbursements. The role involves regular client meetings to understand business needs, monitor account performance, ensure adherence to covenants, and proactively address risks or service issues. The Relationship Manager also collaborates with product and branch teams to cross-sell banking products, drive revenue targets, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting. **Qualifications** - Strong relationship management skills, including client acquisition, portfolio management, and customer service in a business banking or SME lending environment. - Proficiency in financial analysis, credit appraisal, and understanding of working capital products such as cash credit, overdrafts, bill discounting, and trade financing. - Ability to interpret financial statements, assess business models, and evaluate risk while aligning solutions with customer needs and bank policies. - Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with business owners, finance heads, and internal stakeholders. - Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and internal banking systems for documentation, tracking, and reporting. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional certification in finance or banking is an advantage. - Prior experience in working capital lending, SME banking, or corporate banking preferred, ideally within the Greater Ahmedabad or surrounding markets. - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a target-driven, compliance-focused environment.
