We are a global leader in the technology arena and there's nothing that can stop us from growing together.** **What we are looking for** **Role: Release Manager** **Experience Range: 5 to 10 Years** **Location: Bengaluru** **Interview Date: 8th August 26 (09:00 AM to 12:00 PM)** **Interview Venue: Tata Consultancy Services, Think Campus, Phase II, Electronic City, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560100.** **Note-While coming for Walkin:-** · Please carry 2 or more copies of updated resume, 2 Passport size photo along with Govt ID proof(Xerox 2 copies) · Please do not bring personal laptop or electronic gadgets to TCS premises. **Must Have:** 1. Creating and managing end-to-end deployment plans for scheduling, planning, and controlling the deployment process 2. Integrating deployment management practices into delivery process with objective of offering reliable, repeatable IT services, at appropriate service levels 3. Ability to convert the technical expertise to recommendations pertaining to efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; drive best practices, and engage with planning, evaluating, operationalizing, and reporting deliverables. Successful candidate must be able to show they are ready to think and act as an owner, and drive consensus and decisions among stakeholder in pursuit of technical integrity 4. Establishing infrastructure for tracking and monitoring all relevant updates and changes, and efficiently converting the information into reporting, recommendations, schedules and decisions 5. Providing trusted and reliable communication and reporting with confidence that all information is comprehensive, accurate, and confirmed 6. Managing correspondence with clear articulation of impacts 7. Providing subject matter expert guidance and advice to the IT Support segments, and participating in development of remediation and collision avoidance strategies **Good to Have:** 1. Identifying and educating on control and communication failures to help prevent issues going forward 2. Providing updates to senior leadership on accomplishments and opportunities 3. Protecting the interests of organization through identification, management and escalation of risks and dependencies 4. Being proficient with IT workflow and collaboration tools, such as Service Now, JIRA and Confluence. Be able to independently create and manage work items in the tools as required 5. Being professionally familiar with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models to understand and align with multiple teams working in different paradigms 6. Understanding of the DevOps and continuous delivery principles and practices. **Essential:** 1. Advanced knowledge of software development and service management lifecycles. 2. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion. 3. Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills. **Minimum Qualification:** - 15 years of full-time education - Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
